To enable the student to understand:-

General aims of education along with nature, scope functions types and principles of Education.
Philosophical, Sociological and psychological foundations of education.
Meaning and importance of educational measurement and evaluation.
Problems of modern Indian Education.
Develop basic skills in the field of education.

After completion of the Programme the learner will be able-

PO-1	To understand and analyze bases of education.
PO-2	To know Philosophical, Sociological and psychological variables.
PO-3	To understand and analyze development of Education and various issues of present education.
PO-4	To explain the principles of education and different concepts related to education.
PO-5	To measure and evaluate the academic, social and psychological variables.
PO-6	To understand the basic skills of various areas of education.
PO-7	To use basic skills of various areas of education in his/her life.
