To disseminate better and advance services by providing instructional and research facilities to users library has following plan to implement in near future.
To shift library in its own building exclusively for its activities for which recently the ‘Bhumipujan’ has been done on 18th may 2012.
To atomize all its managerial and technical process for which SOUL software developed by INFLIBNET has been procured.
To develop library as Digital library with environmental set up and to make library as a centre of virtual learning
In the forthcoming years library of UPRTOU will be in position to provide excellent access to databases and e-library learning packages using 2 GBPS leased line for benefit of student, scholars and faculty.
To develop institutional repositories.
The future of libraries & librarianship and the learning & research outcome of our institution of higher education will be determined by what we initiate today. These changes directly and indirectly affect libraries to change because information and knowledge depend on resources and due to “global learning” role of library becomes more important.
